Brett Buffum

Hello My Name Is...

Brett Buffum

Theatre/Acting/Technical Theatre/Repertory Theatre/Public Speaking

As the teacher and sponsor of our Theatre Department, my goal is to have high-quality and inclusive Theatre curriculum and programming that the students, parents, and community will be proud of.

Our past productions of the musicals Oklahoma, Once Upon a Mattress, Cinderela, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and the plays You Can't Take it With You, Almost, Maine, Noises Off, and Arsenic and Old Lace were some of the great examples of what this Theatre Department is about. The amazing efforts of the students, supported by family, staff, and the community, has created a department everyone can be proud of.

The classes in this program are project-based and get every student involved. The main goals of the classes are to improve the knowledge and skills of the subject, build self-confidence, increase responsibility, and instill the value of community and group effort. Each student who is involved with our Theatre department will gain insights and skills that will have a positive impact on them in their adult lives.

If you ever have questions or issues of any kind, please never hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Brett Buffum
