Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Family and Consumer Sciences!

I am excited to begin my third year at Spring Hill High School and can not wait to meet all of my wonderful students! I attended Pittsburg State University (GO GORILLAS!) for all three of my Bachelor's degrees. I love everything about Family and Consumer Sciences and have been working with food or fashion since I was a little girl. This year I will be teaching Culinary Essentials, Culinary Arts A, Essentials of Fashion, Apparel and Interior Design, Fashion, Apparel and Interior Design Studio, Apparel Production 1, Interior Design 1 and Career and Life Planning.

This semester in Apparel Production students will be producing two different projects that will be donated to Sheffield Place in Kansas City. To find out more about Sheffield Place follow the link: http://sheffieldplace.org/mission-history

I am avaliable most days before and after school for extra assistance, I just ask that students double check wtih me before coming to make sure I will be there.

I am the advisor for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). FCCLA is an extension of the Family and Consumer Sciences classroom. Students who are involved learn more about leadership, volunteering, competition and much more. Anyone interested in FCCLA can come by my room and ask me anything.
