Hello My Name Is...

Elizabeth White

9th Grade Girls PE  Lifetime Sports

I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Spring Hill High School Physical Education Department for the 2018-2019 academic year. I am in my second year of teaching at SHHS and I am instructing four sections of 9th Grade Girls PE/Health and two sections of Lifetime Sports. I am also the high school assistant girls tennis coach.

I am originally from the small town of Baxter Springs, KS. In 2017, I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Physical Education and an emphasis in Coaching from Pittsburg State University (GOrillas!). In my free time, I enjoy running/working out, DIY projects, and spending time with my family, fiance, and two dogs, Kip and Kora.

The purpose of my physical education program is to develop the student’s physical fitness in areas relating to cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, team sports, and individual sports. Our PE program also strives to teach and develop healthful life habits that the student can use now and throughout their lives after high school.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
